z_Guide: Library Arrangements for COVID 19: Home

Welcome

While the COVID rules are relaxing, there is still a requirement to book a study space in advance and to wear a face covering in the Library.   This is to help to keep study spaces COVID safe by limiting the number of people in the study area at any one time.

You can now come into the Library to browse the collections and borrow material without making a booking.  However, some students may still wish to reserve specific time slots to come to the Library to borrow or return books.  The Click and Collect reservation system will still be in operation for anyone wishing to use it.

Social distancing is still  in operation but at 1 metre from others,.

This guide provides information on booking study spaces and slots to collect and return library books.

The online booking system is available through My SRUC or can be linked to from https://sruc.libcal.com

Once you have confirmed a booking slot, only turn up at the booked time and enter the library on your own.  If there is a queue please ensure 2m social distancing.

NOTE: A face covering must be worn in all libraries  including when seated as stated in Government regulations. Please bring one with you.
